Westborough’s Annual Spring Greening Event
for Cradles to Crayons
March 28th - April 8th
General Information:
- Cradles to Crayons is a Non Profit organization that helps Massachusetts children and teens who are homeless or living in low-income situations. Since 2002, they have provided items such as clothing, books, shoes, toys and more.
- Students should bring bagged items to their social studies teacher for collection.
What We Accept:
- Shoes, boots, sneakers, and sandals (infant/child sizes 0–13 and adult sizes 1–10)
- Books, especially baby board books
- New arts and crafts/school supplies
- Unopened diapers, all sizes
- Clothing and coats (youth sizes 0–20 and adult sizes small & medium)
- New hygiene items
Most Needed Items:
- New and Reusable Face Masks
- Winter Coats and Jackets
- New Pajamas
Who? Cradles to Crayons is a Non Profit organization that helps children in need across Massachusetts
What? You can help by bringing new or gently used items like clothing, books, shoes, toys and more.
Where? Bring the items to your social studies class and put it in the trash bags labeled with your class period
When? You can generously donate items from March 28th to April 8th
Why? 1 in 3 children is at risk of experiencing insecurity while in low-income situations due to hardships
Prize: The class period with the most filled bags will be rewarded with ice cream sandwiches and recognition during the announcements.
On Saturday April 9th we will need volunteers to help sort and package the donations.
